The kitchen was part of the initial renovation plan and was pretty much the only room that stayed approximately within the original scope (though we hadn’t planned on new electrical and plumbing, until we saw the poor condition they were both in). The main goal was to make the space more open.
The only credit I can claim for the cabinets is the colour. I was willing to build them at first but now I am very glad I didn’t. They actually ended up cheaper than Ikea cabinets anyways!
And after the mountain of work that was the bathroom tiling, we decided to hire someone for the kitchen tile. He did it all in an afternoon - pros are so fast!
I did build the counter top though.
And the floating shelves (this was a test fit).
Hooking up the faucet; I did the drain too but forgot to take a picture before stuffing this space with kitchen supplies.
I love cooking and really wanted to show off our pans!
